 My thoughts:
I really enjoyed reviewing this book! The first thing I did was to download the songs that go a long with the selected verses they have for memorization. The songs are a variety of genres from lullabies to upbeat pop songs. A child reads the scripture out loud and then there is a fun song that helps you remember the meaning behind the verse. I like to read the King James Version of the bible, so I downloaded that version. The songs are also available in the New Living Translation, New International Version. The book itself is in the New Living Translation of the Bible. The format is really nice the verses to memorize highlighted. All of the memorization verses are shown in all three versions so you can pick which one you want to memorize. There are also insights and tips on the memorization verses to help you understand and memorize better. I would definitely recommend this Bible if you want to help your kids memorize or at the very least get a better grasp at the themes in the bible.

Court of Midnight and Deception by K.M. Shea

  Summary of Book 1 below my review.   Do you ever read a book and just instantly love the characters? That is what happens every time I read a K.M. Shea book! I don't know how long ago it was when I discovered her books, but I love every single one of them. I recently re-read her Court of Midnight and Deception Series and I enjoyed every moment of it! I really love it when you can re-read books and you want to keep reading because the book is just that good.   The book is set in the USA but there are magical beings walking around with humans. Leila, the main character, is half human and half Fae. She is suddenly told that she is the queen of a kingdom of Fae known as the Night Court.
